HOMEWORK POLICY-Assignments are due the following day for full credit. Assignments handed in a day late will be accepted for half credit. Assignments handed in two or more days late, will not be accepted and a zero will be given. Students who are absent for a day receive two school days to complete the missed assignment(s). ~Weekly News~
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a relaxing break. :)
I apologize for not having the site updated, but we were having technical issues for the past few weeks.
The students are still regularly using Acuity to practice areas of weakness in preparation for the AIMS tests. Please encourage your child to spend time each night, if possible, on the site. The website is https://acuitywest.ctb.com/index.jsp and the students have already recorded their usernames in their planners. The password is ssaz1234.
Just a reminder of some important dates:
Wed 11/30 - Student of the month assembly at 2:10
Thursday 1/8-Winter Concert at 6:00
We will be having a holiday feast right before our winter break, so in the next few days I will send home a letter for items we would like to have. It will be a family style luncheon and I'm looking for pre-packaged goods such as rotiserie chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, veggies, pies, etc. I would love to have any parents come in to help out on that day as well.
Sincerely,
Victoria Simmons
