On Friday, March 9th fourth grade will be going on a field trip to The Arizona Museum of Natural History in Mesa. The classes will be departing from ACA at 9A.M. and be returning to school by dismissal. All students will need to bring a sack lunch to school on the day of the field trip.
In order for your student to participate in the trip to please sign the permission slip below and return it to Mrs. Rodriguez or Mrs. Lucero with $12.00 by Wednesday March 7, 2012. If you would like to volunteer to be a parent chaperone please fill out the appropriate line below and send an additional $4.00 to school with your student for your cost. Due to limited space on the bus chaperone sign-up will be “first come, first serve” unless you would be willing to drive your own car. Please be aware that parents driving their own vehicle will need to pay for parking.

Please ask your child about the story! What is the setting? Who are the main characters? Which character is their favorite and why? Do they like the story? Why or why not? How would they change it if they could? Ask them to support their answers with examples. Any outside discussion greatly enriches their reading experience.
We have begun discuss the United States. This week we are focusing on different theories of who discovered America.
