Math
thinkcentral.com
Thinkcentral.com is a website that assists our students with the Go Math! curriculum we use in the classroom. Have your student log-in using their ACA user name and password. Once logged in the students will have the ability to do one of three things: view their textbooks, complete assignments, or use the iTools.
Logging-in: The following needs to be selected from the drop down menus to log into the website.
State: Arizona
District: State Operated School
School: Arizona Charter Academy, Surprise 85378
Username: your students first name initial and last name (no spaces)
Password: 04grade (if this password does not work, have your child try their ACA computer log-in password)
If you have trouble logging in please contact Mrs. Lucero
View their textbooks: (Click on My Library) This option gives students the ability to print pages from their Go Math textbook and their Standards Practice Book (homework book). If your student leaves their HW at school or looses an assignment, please assist them in printing the assignment at home and turning it in. Additionally, while viewing the Go Math textbook students will be able to complete Tutorials and Workouts for current and past lessons. Students can do this by putting in the lesson number (example 1.2) in the search box at the top of the page and hitting enter. Next, click on the correct lesson. Last, click on the Destination Math button (round black button on the upper right hand side of the Go Math textbook page) and then the lessons Tutorial and/or workouts.
Complete assignments: (Click on Things to Do) This option gives students the ability to play math games that will assist them in mastering the concepts taught in class. There are two types of assignments, Mega Math and Soar to Success. Both are personalized assignments intended to meet your student's individual needs. Please have your student complete these assignments regularly.
Using iTools: (Click on Things to Do) This option gives students the ability to use mathematical tools to complete their HW. The students should be familiar with how to use these tools as we use them in class regularly.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding using the Thinkcentral website please contact Mrs. Lucero.
