The ACA community strives to foster ethical, responsible, and caring Jr. High students by modeling and teaching good character through an emphasis on the universal values that we all share. We focus on personal responsibility where students learn that freedom goes hand in hand with responsibility. We expect, teach, and support appropriate behavior and conduct both with fellow students and school staff.
Our curriculum centers on excellence in reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, and technology use. Other subjects of studies include science, history, global geography, language and literature, the arts and personal development- physical education and life skills classes.
Small class sizes (20:1 Student/Teacher Ratio) with individualized approaches to teaching and learning, ensure student progress is monitored and evaluated regularly. Supplemental classes such as Title 1 Reading and Math, ELL, and AIMs tutoring are available at no additional cost.
